1. Contact our publishing coordinator to tell us about your book. The coordinator will discuss Globe Publishing policies and procedures in order to assist you in deciding the best publishing options for you.
2. A Support Representative will guide you through the necessary steps of pre- publication and answer any questions regarding the Publishing Agreement including, pricing and marketing questions. Full disclosure of the Contract will be discussed and clarified if there are any questions.
3. The next step in the process is to work with our Pre-Press Technician in order to discuss and assess the manuscript and other related items submitted for publication. At that time, it can also be determined the style and color options available for the cover setup. Once these items have been approved by the author, a bound proof copy including the cover portions will be submitted for your review and approval before final production can begin.
4. When the final proof copy has been approved and signed off by the author, full production will commence. Publication amounts will be determined based on the marketability of the submission by experienced literary experts in the field who are part of Globe Publishing’s expert panel. We also submit numerous pre-press copies for review by critics within the newspaper, radio and television industry throughout the United States for their evaluations and opinions. Positive responses will be included in the final production.
5. The last and most important step in the process for any author is the Globe’s association with a national distribution system. Without that option, your book/novel could languish in a storage facility without ever receiving the exposure it deserves. That is why it’s important and necessary for you to have the accessibility to a valid distribution system. That is the key to success in the publishing business.
